A man from Cleveland has been confronted in jail for more than ten years after he has thrown two cups of hot coffee onto a McDonald's drive-thru employee and left her first-degree burns.
Joseph DeLuca, 54, can be seen in security footage throwing the freshly prepared hot drinks at the female cashier after she accidentally served him two coffees and asked for one back at the drive-in in Cleveland.
DeLuca, which according to court reports already has some vandalism, intimidation and burglary, can be seen at the window on February 19 at 12.30.

He Reportedly ordered a single cup of coffee. The unnamed female employee can be seen in the CCTV images that hand him a tray with two cups of coffee.
However, she seemed to realize that a mistake had been made and asked to see his receipt.
DeLuca can argue with the cashier before he gets out of his car and throws both cups of hot coffee through the open drive-through window.

The woman, who has not been mentioned, was treated for first-degree burns on her face, neck and shoulders and she suffered from blurred vision after the attack, local media have reported.
Deluca is now faced with more than 10 years in prison for injuring the fast food employee.

The 54-year-old pleaded guilty to the charge of crime attack resulting from this incident and another where he was accused of attacking his colleague in a June 25 incident.
DeLuca allegedly attacked a colleague who had seen him fight with another man a few days earlier.
He had driven his 1999 Toyota Corolla when he saw his colleague walking down a street in the city.
DeLuca stopped, grazed the man with the car, before attacking, the public prosecutor said.
The Cleveland man already has more than 20 previous convictions on charges of vandalism and intimidation to burglary and gross theft, according to court reports.
He will appear in court again on December 3 for conviction.
