He continued, “At first I thought it had something to do with the closing. My friends told me to buy earplugs from my neighbors. I just don’t know which neighbor sent it and I don’t really want to know to be honest. ‘
The note said, “Dear neighbor. Just a friendly note from your neighbor to remind you that the walls in these buildings are thin and that noise can travel.
While we realize that it is inevitable that we will occasionally hear neighbors, we want to make you aware that we can hear more than we should.
‘I’m sure you’ll agree that we all need to be considerate and respectful of our neighbors, we don’t want to share your intimate and private moments with you.

So we politely ask if you can please keep the noise down at night. Keep in mind that you have neighbors in a building where sound travels. Thanks for understanding.’

“I would frame that and stick it to the wall,” one wrote, while another wrote in the same way, “I would have that framed as a tribute.”
A third added, ‘Put a pair of earplugs through their door and get on with your life,’ while a fourth suggested:
“I would put a” loud-o-meter “on the wall outside your door and ask them to indicate how loud it was each time on a scale from” Hurry up, I have work tomorrow “to.”
A fifth commented, “ I know how to hurt them … I would hang the letter on the wall or a lamppost outside their house for them to see and add the earplugs with an answer: To whom it may concern, I put in earplugs for your convenience, please use them and enjoy a quiet life! ‘
