About two hours later, officers later found the man in a Greater Inwood home, dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, Srgt Beall told the Houston Chronicle.

Authorities said the gunman would be texting relatives about his plans to commit suicide.

Investigators said there were more than 100 people in the facility at the time of the shooting, including dozens of teenagers.
