A 48-year-old father was killed in a horror hit and run while standing next to his motorcycle on a highway.
Dean Khan’s body was found about 100 yards from his Suzuki bike on the Bruce Highway near Coles Creek in rural Queensland at approximately 11 p.m. Monday.
Police believe Khan had parked his motorcycle on the nearby slip road and stood holding his helmet when he was hit by an unknown vehicle.

“ A man who was full of life, a father and a loving brother, has tragically lost his life, ” a friend told the Courier mail.

Forensic Crash Unit investigators are calling on all witnesses, especially motorists driving the Bruce Highway around the Kybong area between 10pm and 11pm.
Anyone who has relevant dashcam vision is urged to contact the police.
