A man was stabbed and another was rushed to hospital with head injuries after a wild fight broke out in a Sydney pub.
Police were called to the hotel on Parramatta Road in Lewisham, in the city’s inner west, shortly after 3am on Saturday after reports of an assault.
Officers were told that three men had been assaulted by a group of people who had left the scene before police arrived.
The man who had been stabbed was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
It remains in stable condition.
Two other men, both aged 35, were also taken to the same hospital after one of them was treated for head injuries at the scene.
Police established the crime scene on the busy street and launched an investigation.
