A 39-year-old man was shot while standing in the driveway of a Hollywood Hills home and police are searching for the shooter who fled in a car.
The shooting happened around 2 a.m. early Wednesday in the 7800 block of Fareholm Drive in Los Angeles, according to CBS News.
Police immediately responded to the incident and saw a man with multiple gunshot wounds outside a residence.
Authorities have not identified the victim. The suspect fled.

Investigators say the victim was attending a party when the suspect arrived.
The couple began arguing in the street and the suspect shot the victim several times, according to KCAL.
Police say the suspect may have gotten into another vehicle and fled. There could be more than one suspect, authorities added.
Officers performed CPR on the 39-year-old, but it was unsuccessful and he died at the scene.
