A man has been killed on a quiet street in Sydney’s east as police launch an investigation.
Emergency services were called to Fletcher Street in Waverley just after 6pm.
NSW Ambulance paramedics were unable to revive the man and he died at the scene.
It is understood that he has suffered injuries to his upper body.

Police officers set up a crime scene, with officers from the Crash Investigation Unit (CIU) called in to help with the investigation.
Motorists are advised to avoid Fletcher Street between Glen and Silver Streets
The man has not yet been identified.
