A man was found dead at the back of a church on the Gold Coast.
The 45-year-old man was discovered at The River Church in Broadbeach at 9am on Thursday.
Emergency services attended the scene and pronounced the man dead on arrival.
It is understood he has been battling homelessness.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman said officers were investigating the incident.

The death is not considered suspicious.
“Police are at the scene of an incident on Monaco St in Broadbeach,” the spokeswoman said.
‘At approximately 9am a man was found unconscious in the back of a business premises.
Emergency services attended and he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
“Investigations are continuing but it is being treated as a non-suspicious death.”
