Tradie dies after being crushed by a fiberglass swimming pool while working in Queensland
A man has died following a workplace incident at a warehouse south of Brisbane.
NCA Newswire understands that a fiber optic pole fell on the man and crushed him in a company warehouse in Beaudesert, about 85 km south of Brisbane City.
He suffered serious injuries in the incident from which he could not recover.
Police were called to an address on Doug Sullivan Court after the man suffered critical injuries.
“Emergency services were called to the address of Doug Sullivan Court just after 10 a.m. in connection with a workplace incident in which the man was pronounced dead,” a police spokesman said.
“No other patients have been examined at the scene,” a Queensland Ambulance spokesman said.
Police are assisting the Queensland occupational health and safety investigation and a report will be prepared for the coroner.
