A man has died after being stabbed at a Thai restaurant in northern Queensland.
Emergency crews were called to Joy Thai on Thuringowa Drive in Kirwan, in Townsville’s east, about 4.40pm on Monday after reports a man had been stabbed.
Officers located the man with serious injuries and, despite attempts to revive him, he died at the scene.

A man in his 30s was arrested and is assisting police with a homicide investigation.
Police confirmed that no one else was injured despite earlier reports that a woman had also been stabbed.
The investigation is ongoing.
