A man claims objects in his apartment started moving around the house on their own after he brought home a historic coin.
Leighton Bester, from Salford, shared a clip on TikTok of one of his chairs skidding dramatically around his room, apparently without human help, in what he claims is a sign of “paranormal activity”.
The 34-year-old claims this is one of many spooky activities that have taken place in his apartment since he found a 1965 Winston Churchill coin in his neighbor’s closet and took it home.
As the clip continues, Leighton’s blinds appear to swivel, again with no apparent human interference, and he says he will bring in a priest to solve the problem.
He says in the clip: ‘I’m leaving… that’s the final straw, guys. I’m going to have to move tonight.
Leighton Bester (pictured) regularly captures chilling “paranormal” occurrences in her home and claims it all started thanks to a coin.
Leighton claims the “entity” has been wreaking havoc several times a day, hourly, for the past week.
The 34-year-old added that the unusual incidents began when he found a 1965 Winston Churchill coin in his neighbours’ locked kitchen cupboard.
‘I noticed strange things happened a week ago. The first incident was a loud bang coming from a kitchen cupboard,” she said.
The strange encounters began instantly after he returned to his apartment with the coin.
Admitting he felt “more vulnerable” when the light was off at first, Leighton has become accustomed to the spooky incidents.
‘I’m not sure how and why this started. “I think it has something to do with the coin I found and it must be cursed or something,” she said.
“When it started it was scary, but now it’s more annoying than anything else. It’s like having a naughty roommate.
He added: “I’m not part of the paranormal community and I don’t really believe in ghosts, but I can’t explain what’s going on.”
‘Things can’t move on their own. I think it’s a kind of “energy” that has attached itself to me.
But the mysterious “entity” is not your typical Casper ghost, as the 34-year-old claims chairs hit the floor, blinds move sharply and the TV turns on and off at every hour of the day.
He believes the spooky encounters were sparked by a 1965 Winston Churchill coin he found in his neighbor’s kitchen cupboard.
After leaving TikTok users completely shocked by the “authentic” and “raw” footage, Leighton revealed that many had urged him to contact a priest or medium.
He said: “I haven’t seen anything physically. People say it’s a ghost or a poltergeist and maybe even a demon.”
‘Thousands of people in the paranormal community have commented on my videos saying that a priest or medium could help but could also make things much worse.’
Leighton responded to skeptics, claiming that even experts who tried to debunk his videos failed.
‘Those who doubt are becoming believers. Paranormal experts and digital editing experts from all over the world have tried to discredit my videos,
“But they cannot be discredited as they are raw footage recorded from my phone while it is in my hands, and the activity is right in front of people’s eyes to see.”
The online paranormal community has urged him to seek help from a medium or priest, however, Leighton shared that he is more upset than scared by his unwanted roommate.
Although his family and friends are concerned, Leighton is more irritated by constantly having to close the blinds.
“I’m sick of getting up to close the blinds after they open and the lights and TV go off,” he said.
‘I’m starting to get used to it now, but some things still scare me sometimes. I don’t know what possible new things could start happening, so I’m always on guard.
“There’s nothing I can really do except hold on until I’ve figured out how to stop it all.”
