A Brazilian businessman is detained after threatening a teenager for dating his 15-year-old daughter.
Surveillance footage of the strange incident on Tuesday showed the 39-year-old man arguing with the 16-year-old at the cell phone store where he works in the central city of Vianópolis.
He followed the teenager around a display case and pushed it at him as the frightened boy ran.
They walked down the sidewalk as the teen crossed to the opposite side and chased him for several blocks before a security camera showed him pulling out a gun and shooting into the air.

An angry father was seen on Tuesday chasing a 16-year-old boy in the central Brazilian city of Vianópolis and firing a shot into the air because he did not approve of the relationship between him and his 15-year-old daughter.
The angry father escaped and was eventually arrested 49 miles away, in the city of Anapólis, on Tuesday afternoon after disobeying an order from the Goiás Military Police to stop on a highway.
He initially presented a BB gun during the search and lied about having purchased it after the shooting incident.
Officers continued to search the vehicle and discovered the .22 caliber revolver he had used while chasing the boy.
He was taken to a local Civil Police station in Goiás, where he told investigators that he only wanted to scare the teenager after he found out about his conversations on his daughter’s cell phone.
The teen was not shot during the chase, police said.

The incident comes five years after Cleber Pires, 38, shot and killed a 19-year-old man in Goiânia because he did not want his 14-year-old daughter to go out with him.
At the time of his arrest, Pires told Goiâs Military Police that he had contacted his daughter’s boyfriend and asked him to come to his house to have a “manly conversation.”
Once at his house, Pires stated that the teenager pulled out a knife to attack him and he reacted by shooting him in the head.
‘When I turned my back on him, I thought he was talking to me like a man. “He pulled a knife out of a wood stove in the area and came toward me,” Pires told investigators.
