A man has been charged with murder after two people were found dead north of Brisbane.
Police arrived at a home on Kentville Street in Mitchelton before 9am on Thursday and found two people unconscious.
A 61-year-old man from Keperra and a 35-year-old woman from Mitchelton were pronounced dead at the scene.
A Greenslopes man, who was at the scene and reportedly knew the couple, was taken into police custody.
Police allege the 41-year-old man failed to contact emergency services.
The man has been charged with two counts of murder (reckless indifference), two counts of supplying dangerous drugs and two counts of possession of dangerous drugs.
He is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday.
