A man has been arrested on charges of murder after the death of a woman with “significant injuries.”
The victim, in her 40s, was found at Crookham Hill in Thatcham, Berkshire, Thursday at 11:45 PM.
Police confirmed that a 35-year-old man has been arrested on charges of murder and is still in custody.

A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: “Her relatives have been informed and will be supported by specialist agents.
A 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder and is currently still in police custody.
“There is currently a large police presence in the area, which is likely to remain for some time as long as the investigation continues and agents are investigating the area.”
Detective Superintendent, Andy Shearwood of the Major Crime Unit said: “First of all, I would like to say that our thoughts are with the family and friends of the woman who tragically passed away.
‘I understand this could be troubling to the public and that there will be a number of agents around while a thorough investigation is carried out.
Road closures were present while Thames Valley police investigators investigated the scene
There is no greater threat to the public.
