The altercation awoke his mother, slept in a nearby room, and witnessed part of the incident.

Crews then responded on Sunday afternoon to a stay on Pennock Avenue near Vaughn Street, where it seemed as if the entire house had been lit by fire.

Security cameras showed that Worthan came into the house and left a short time later. Recently, smoke has come out of the home, according to a certified statement from WKRN.

Worthan denied being at home and lighting the fire, a statement contradicted by the security footage, Scoop Nashville said.

Flammable liquid was poured into multiple rooms and was used to start the fire, researchers said.

No injuries were reported during the incident. Metropolis claimed that they were called home for a domestic dispute 24 hours before the fire occurred.

Worthan was accused of domestic assault and aggravated arson. He remains trapped on a $ 51,000 bond.
