A 55-year-old Melbourne man has died after being stabbed on a busy street.
The Campbellfield man was allegedly stabbed as he sat in his black Mercedes Benz on Scammel Street in the city’s north on Monday afternoon.
The car reportedly drove 100 meters down the road and hit another parked vehicle.
A worker who witnessed the alleged attack called police around 1:30 p.m. 7News reports.
The 55-year-old man was rushed to the Royal Melbourne Hospital with life-threatening injuries to his upper body, but later died.
A 57-year-old man was arrested at the scene.
It is believed the two men knew each other and had a verbal disagreement before the alleged assault.
