Investigators said at the time that Kinsey injured his girlfriend with his car on March 8 and ‘did not call for emergency medical care’ for the 36-year-old victim, reported Atlanta Journal Constitution.
The next morning, Patterson’s neighbor called 911 to report that she had seen a blood trail in her driveway on Goldenshore Way.
Officials said 46-year-old Kinsey had failed to seek medical attention for his girlfriend, causing her to die
Delegates followed dark spots of blood on the floor, including bloody footprints, to the front door. They looked through the window and saw more blood in the house.
When delegates entered the home, they found the woman’s lifeless body lying on the floor.
Nearly two months after his arrest, Kinsey was charged with an additional charge of involuntary manslaughter resulting from Patterson’s death.
