A 96-year-old woman and her 50-year-old grandson were both found dead from multiple stab wounds at a Queens home on Thursday in what the police are investigating as a murder-suicide.
According to the NYPD, officers responded to an address at 14 Place in Astoria at 8 a.m. and found the man and woman unconscious and unresponsive.
Paramedics who arrived at the house with a view of the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge declared both the grandmother and the grandson dead on the spot.

The police do not release the names of the deceased pending reporting of the next of kin.
Investigators of the NYPD crime scene were photographed on Thursday and entered the two-story multi-family home dressed in hazmat suits and white slippers.
The suspect had moved in with his grandmother after his release from Pennsylvania state prison.
