A man died after being taken to a guardhouse behind a Queensland police car.
The 46-year-old man struggled with the police when they arrested him early Friday for an incident with a 33-year-old woman in a parking lot at the hotel in Rockhampton.

But he turned out not to respond at the back of the police vehicle when it arrived at the guardhouse around 3:50.
It is unclear whether he was already dead, but officers performed CPR until an ambulance arrived.
He was declared dead shortly thereafter.
The coroner has been notified and the Crime and Corruption Commission will oversee a Queensland police investigation into the incident.
