Donations poured in from fans and her crowdfunding page raised CAD 39,022, which is equivalent to US$28,333.27.

“Thank you so much,” Mamie wrote on GoFundMe this week before closing her page. “I don’t even know what to say. My heart is full. Thank you again. I have no words to describe my gratitude. I love you guys. Thank you. MAMIE.”

Her mother, Nicole Rockmann, gave an update on social media late last month about Mamie’s condition following her near-fatal fall.

“Mamie survived her injuries, but her road to recovery will be long. I will soon be installing a mailbox for all your cards and well wishes. Kind regards, Nicole.”

“Thanks for the update. You are all in our thoughts and prayers,” one fan wrote.

On May 26, he suffered “life-threatening” injuries after falling from a walkway on a fifth-floor balcony at the hospital.
