She immediately went to the deli to begin her shopping trip.
There she found pieces of chicken for sale at $ 3.50 a kilo.
“So this got us six drumsticks for less than three dollars,” she said.
She then went to the fresh produce department, where she found a bag of broccoli and carrots for just $ 2.
Jenay then continues to the spice trail where she finds a French onion soup package for 45 cents and a gallon of broth for $ 1.90.
Her last stop is at the dairy where she buys a bottle of slightly thickened cream for $ 1.90.

“Yum, can you make a vegetarian version,” said another.
“Thank you legend, I am a freshman and being able to cook food this way and having some left over for work helps a lot,” added a man.
Some of the mom’s fans have added their own tips.
‘I went to a deli the night before they close for the day. We mark everything with 60%, ”said one employee.
She bought pre-cut vegetables for $ 2
She also bought chicken stock to spice up her inexpensive meal
“Buy two large Domino’s pizzas for $ 10 – dinner is ready,” one man laughed.
The mother also made a video of herself preparing the meal – much to the delight of her fans.
She covered the drumsticks with bagel seasoning and baked them in a pan.
Then she mixed the dip with the chicken stock and put them in a baking dish with the lightly seared drumsticks.
The dish went into the oven and came out 30 minutes later.

“I hate cooking, but I made two of your recipes because you make it look so easy,” said another.
The mother and daughter are on vacation in Adelaide, which makes the challenge more difficult as they have limited inventory items.
