Mama June revealed her daughter Anna ‘Chickadee’ Cardwell’s “biggest fear” about her death, amid Chickadee’s final decline from cancer.

Chickadee succumbed to her illness last December and allowed reality TV cameras to capture her on her deathbed in her final hours.

Now the Mama June: Family Crisis episodes that documented her final months are finally airing, including this week’s heartbreaking broadcast.

June was seen taking Chickadee with her for palliative care at home, after immunotherapy and radiation failed to stop the cancer’s progress.

In a devastating confessional, June, 44, told the audience of the anxieties Chickadee harbored about how she might die.

“I know Anna’s biggest fear is going to sleep at night and dying in her sleep,” said Mama June, whose full name is June Shannon.

June and her new husband Justin Stroud, whom she met while in rehab for past drug addiction, stayed with Chicakdee at her house for the night to keep her company.

‘All night Anna was calling me in a panic and sending messages to the doctors. She hadn’t slept in days,” the devastated mother revealed.

Chickadee and her daughters Kaitlyn, 11, and Kylee, eight, finally arrived at June’s house, brought by Chickadee’s husband, Eldridge Toney.

“She wanted me to call hospice this morning and that’s what I did,” June said. “I moved mountains to get doctors to finally approve hospice treatment and I think it was the best decision he made.”

Chickadee had come to the conclusion that “his body is tired” and all he wanted now was to “live the rest of his days with his family.”

June said: ‘There’s noise, you know, it’s what Anna wanted. She wanted to be surrounded by family and we’re giving her what she wants, and that’s how it will be.”

Although June and one of her other daughters, Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird, have been having an explosive feud, they put it aside for Chickadee.

The patient wanted her family to be together at her side as she died, so Pumpkin and June put their feud on the back burner to honor her request.

After Chickadee’s death, inside sources told TMZ that the last three weeks of his life, which he spent in hospice, would be shown in the television series with Chickadee’s approval.

Chickadee evidently wanted to help viewers understand the experiences of cancer patients and consequently kept the camera crew with her until her final hours.

However, the team behind the reality show refused to film his death and will not film his funeral, in order to allow the family to grieve in private.
