The mom posted photos of the cake transformation on Facebook, saying the cake was a lot of lager than she expected when it was done.
She bought a cake topper just over 30 years old for dessert, which she paired with a golden palm leaf as the main decoration.
The cake was colored in shades of pink, lavender, and gold, which impressed the others in the group.
‘Your cake left me speechless, how? What an excellent cake designer, ”a woman in the post applauded.
The woman posted a series of photos, including recipe screenshots, to explain how she managed to decorate the cakes so well.
“Thanks for giving us such good instructions so people like me can try a hack like this,” one woman wondered.

How can I make this mud cake hack?
Step 1 – Calculate how long you want the cake and buy the right amount of mud cake
Step 2 – Display show stop pieces, such as a pretty cake topper or palm leaf
Step 3 – Work out the color scheme, for this cake it will be lavender, pink and gold
Step 4 – Organize additional decorations, such as dipping balls in colored chocolate, making mini chocolate bars or heart cake with silicone molds
Step 5 – Make a firm meringue buttercream to make sure the icing curls stay upright
Step 6 – Stack and ice the cakes, then add the other edible decorations
Step 7 – Add gold glaze, the cake topper, greens and sprinkles to finish
Others pretended to be angry at the tremendous effort.
“This group has no room for real talent, go away,” laughed one mother.
The mother used part of the cake in heart shapes and said the cake was “so moist” she just rolled it up inside without using icing to stick it together.
She also used silicone molds to make small chocolate cubes and used different sized chocolate balls covered in pink and purple chocolate to enhance the tower’s effect.
She used different shades of pink icing on the cake and decorations
Finishing was added with gold dust and decorations
Most DIY cake decorators couldn’t believe the woman was showing off a ‘home job’.
“A lot of time and effort went into that cake and you absolutely nailed it,” said one woman.
Others agree that it is “the best thing they’ve seen” in the group.
