A popular shopping center has been forced to close after a bomb threat, terrorizing customers.

Buyers and business owners were baffled in front of the Domain Central shopping center in Townsville, Queensland.

A bomb attack was reported at 10.31 am Monday and the police were called, according to the Townsville Bulletin.

The mall has been surrounded by police, with three vehicles remaining in place to investigate the threat.

It is understood that some police officers have left the scene since they arrived for the first time on Monday morning.
