Malin’s latest upload comes a few weeks after she told of a miscarriage, two years after the tragic death of her daughter Consy.

The TV personality shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram, admitting that while ‘my strength sometimes amazes me, it hurts me to talk about this in detail now because of what happened to Consy’.

The mental health campaigner lost her daughter Consy to complications from a premature birth in January 2019, 14 months after her mother, Consy-Gloria, died of stomach cancer at the age of 65.

Brave Malin wrote alongside an image of two pregnancy tests: “Hi guys, I have clearly disappeared for a while and I have received hundreds of messages from people asking if I was okay and sending me love.

“I appreciate every message and it means a lot that you all want to make sure everything is okay. Sometimes I have to take the time to deal with my life privately, because my life is so public, I had to get away from it all. ‘

The media personality added: ‘The past few months have not been easy for me, but there is also something else I would like to discuss.

‘You all know that I am very transparent about taboo topics, and I like to shed light on things that are often not talked about and especially trauma that I have experienced myself, I found out I was pregnant – and then shortly afterwards I got a miscarriage.

“It pains me to talk about this in detail now because of what happened to Consy … but I want you all to know that miscarriage doesn’t discriminate and it can happen to anyone. Even if you think you’ve been through enough.

“ It’ll be fine – my strength never ceases to amaze me at times, but I felt like I had to share this with all of you because I’ve never been one to hold back anything – especially when I know it can help someone else. ”

Her daughter Consy, named after Malin’s late mother, was born seven weeks prematurely and has been cared for at Great Ormond Street Hospital since her premature birth.

Malin’s mother fought breast cancer twice since 2001 and the cancer spread for the third time before her death. Tragically, the TV star’s father died of skin cancer after battling the disease twice.
