Malik Scott has opened up about his intimate wedding day with Kate Abdo and revealed his glamorous wife could be fighting Katie Price later this year.
Boxing trainer Scott married the CBS Sports presenter earlier this month and shared several glamorous snaps from the ceremony in the hills of Malibu.
Their relationship was first revealed live by experts Jamie Carragher and Micah Richards in December 2023 and since then, Abdo, 43, and Scott, 43, have shared occasional glimpses into their private lives with their followers on social media.
Scott’s children were in attendance for the close-knit celebration and the happy couple posed for photos with their son and daughter after the nuptials.
Several days after the wedding, Scott remains deeply moved, revealing that he was moved to tears after Abdo’s gesture with the wedding cake.

Talking with Genting CasinoHe said: ‘Kate did something incredibly creative, caring and compassionate, which reflects the lifestyle I come from.
‘She took an old photograph of my first ABC Gym in North Philadelphia where I grew up, the gym that essentially saved my life.
‘She copied the ring from that gym and turned it into a cake, with me in the ring wearing the boxer shorts I had on when I fought Tony Thompson.
‘Those boxers had a design I borrowed from Sugar Ray Leonard when he fought Tommy Hearns the second time around, but I added my own colours – pink and black with stripes. He even stood next to me in a wedding dress.
‘The thoughtfulness and creativity moved me to tears because it reminded me of my childhood in that ring, where I faced many challenges, learned difficult lessons, and grew up.
“That ring always meant the world to me.”
The couple tied the knot in Malibu nine months after going public with their relationship.
Scott revealed he had spoken to Thierry Henry (second from left), who is jokingly said to have a crush on fellow commentator Abdo (left), after several funny interactions on the show.
Scott also talked about a FaceTime call with Thierry Henry, who has been the butt of jokes for declaring he had a crush on his CBS Sports colleague Abdo. The running joke stems from their on-screen chemistry and funny interactions on the show.
“Thierry, Michah, Jamie… they all sent their well wishes,” Scott added. “I actually just finished a FaceTime conversation with Thierry. I’m proud of the job he did with the Olympic team.
‘What he was up against, no matter how big a star you are at your craft, the transition to coaching comes with a lot of pressure.
‘He took a team that was missing seven to nine of its key players and had just a month to work with them, and they came out fighting all the way to the final.
“His heart, his desire and his passion to win are there. He connects with the players, not just because of who he is, but because of the wisdom he shares. It’s very impressive.”
Abdo was scheduled to fight Katie Price in August, but talks are ongoing over a new date.

Meanwhile, Abdo is preparing a showdown against Price after revealing that Misfits Boxing has offered him his in-ring debut. The fight was originally scheduled for August, but after a conflict with his wedding date, talks are underway over a new date.
“We had too much going on with planning and managing our schedules,” Scott said. “Even when Kate isn’t working, she’s always prepping for her next project, so she never has any free time. The future is bright for that, though.
“I’m in touch with the right people. Kate trains three or four times a week, so we’ll see. It depends on the schedule and how Kate feels.”
