Tyler Badie is expected to recover after the Denver Broncos running back collapsed on the sideline after hitting his head on the MetLife Stadium turf.
Badie was stretchered to the locker room in a neck brace and was quickly ruled out for the remainder of the Broncos’ game against the New York Jets on Sunday afternoon.
He was believed to have suffered a back injury during the horrific moments and fans were left concerned after head coach Sean Payton initially offered no update after the game.
However, the 24-year-old is now said to be ‘d“I’ll be fine,” according to him Denver Post.
Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk also reported that Badie has “movement in all extremities.”

Medics rush to help Badie on the bench after he collapsed to the ground following the play.
The Broncos were due to return to Colorado around 7 p.m. ET, but it is unclear if Badie would make the return trip with the team. “We’ll see,” Payton responded when asked about the issue.
The scary moment came late in the first quarter of the Broncos’ narrow 10-9 victory over the Jets.
Slow-motion replays showed Badie landing awkwardly on his head and neck during a Broncos play against the Jets, before he managed to return to the sideline.
A few seconds later, he collapsed to the ground while standing among his teammates, and medics rushed to his aid.
Shortly after, as the second quarter of the game began, Badie was placed in a neck brace and taken on a stretcher to the locker room for further evaluation.
He was then quickly ruled out for the remainder of the match, but the full extent of his injuries is currently unclear.
Head coach Sean Payton initially did not offer any update on Badie’s status after the game.
The injury occurred after Quincy Williams tackled Badie, forcing a fumble.
The incident occurred on a tackle by Jets linebacker Quincy Williams, who tackled Badie while attempting to catch the ball, resulting in a fumble and a Jets recovery.
Badie was then unable to break his fall in the pouring rain, and his face mask can be seen crashing onto the MetLife grass.
The stadium’s giant screens showed Badie being carried off on a stretcher shortly after, and he appeared to be conscious and speaking to doctors.
Badie was selected in the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft after starring at Missouri, and was promoted to the active roster on Wednesday after impressing with nine carries for 70 yards in the win over the Bucs in Week 3.
