South Australia has been rocked by its third earthquake in less than four weeks.
A magnitude 3.0 earthquake struck Burra, in the north central part of the state, shortly after 7.30am on Monday.
The tremor has generated almost 50 “felt” reports on the Geoscience Australia website, and the real number is likely to be much higher.
This comes after Jamestown residents felt a magnitude 4.2 rumble on May 1.
Adelaide Hills residents also suffered a magnitude 2.7 earthquake on April 15, which was felt by at least 300 people across the metropolitan area.
Adelaide feels earthquakes regularly and sits on several faults, including the Para fault and the Eden-Burnside fault.
