Trump supporters are pushing for a ‘MAGA moat’ around Mar-a-Lago to prevent the former president from being arrested while demanding that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis defy New York authorities and refuse to extradite Trump. Trump.
The former president had claimed on his Truth Social platform that he will likely be arrested Tuesday on criminal charges related to payments he made to porn star Stormy Daniels.
He even urged his supporters to “protest, protest, protest” as he spoke online about the legal case, prompting many to show up at his Florida property with signs, banners and even their own boats.
Now some MAGA conservatives are demanding that DeSantis refuse to extradite Trump to a ‘Soros DA’ until the Florida government can conduct its own investigation, with some even saying the governor should call in the Florida National Guard to protect to Trump.
But so far, DeSantis has kept quiet about the possible arrest, even as other Republicans line up to denounce the possible indictment as an “abuse of power.”

MAGA supporters online are demanding that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (pictured here earlier this month) refuse to extradite the former president.

Trump had called on his supporters on Saturday to “protest, protest, protest” his arrest.
Among those calling for action are political commentator Mike Cernovich and radio host Stew Peters.
Cernovich, for his part, demanded that DeSantis refuse to extradite the former president, even offering a statement for the Florida governor to use.
“I will not extradite a presidential candidate to a Soros district attorney who allows violent criminals to roam free until a proper legal review has been conducted under Florida law,” he offered. “If it’s legal, then the extradition can happen, but not a day before.”
Political strategist and former radio host Joey M. also tweeted ‘if DeSantis signs that extradition request, his political career as we know, it would end. It would be worse than Pence.
“If he doesn’t sign them, he becomes a hero to MAGA and possibly becomes the de facto nominee for 2024, or he settles with Trump and forms a unity ticket with himself as vice president. ‘
Meanwhile, Peters tweeted ‘if Ron DeSantis is the conservative hero he projects himself, he should REFUSE to serve President-in-Exile Trump’s arrest warrant and send the Florida National Guard to Mar-a-Lago to ensure Trump’s protection.
“Anything less proves that DeSantis is a fraud.”
There are also similar reports of callers surrounding Mar-a-Lago or blocking traffic to avoid arrest of the former president.
DailyMail.com has reached out to DeSantis’ office for comment.

Others are posting online that they will surround Mar-a-Lago and block traffic.

Some MAGA supporters have already started lining up outside Mar-a-Lago to protest

Radio host Stew Peters suggested that DeSantis call in the Florida National Guard to protect Trump

Mike Cernovich offered DeSantis a statement he was able to read denouncing the allegation
The Florida governor is so far one of the few Republicans who has not spoken out on Trump’s pending impeachment, even House Speaker Kevin McCarthy denounced him on Twitter.
“Here we go again: an outrageous abuse of power by a radical district attorney who lets violent criminals walk while seeking political revenge against President Trump,” the California representative wrote, referring to the Manhattan district attorney, Alvin Bragg.
McCarthy then promised to order relevant committees to investigate whether federal funds are being used to “subvert our democracy by interfering in elections with politically motivated prosecutions.”
Controversial Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene also said Trump “will win even more” than he was already going to win in 2024 if Bragg impeaches him and “didn’t do anything wrong.”
She said that any Republican who supports the “indictment” of the former president will face consequences.
“And those Republicans who stand by and applaud their persecution or do nothing to stop it will be exposed to the public and will be remembered, despised and punished by the grassroots.”
