It’s easy to convince most young women – just don’t support MAGA and see the movie Barbie.
A fascinating survey has revealed the most common attractions and reluctances among men and women aged 18 to 34 in the United States.
Research on change asked 1,033 Americans if certain behaviors are a green, beige, or red red flag in a partner. Both sexes are on the same page on certain qualities, like the importance of having hobbies or being “bothered” enough to ask for details.
For 76% of women, supporting the ideals of MAGA – Make America Great Again, a nickname championed by former President Donald Trump – was a turn-off. For men, at 64 percent, the biggest turn-off was identifying as a communist.
A majority of men surveyed — 59 percent — also cited their pro-Trump beliefs as a hindrance when looking for a partner.
It was an equally left-wing story with gender identity. Fifty-four percent of women said that people who believe there are only two genders turn them off. A significant minority of men – 34 percent – felt the same way.
The Joe Rogan Podcast has also been controversial among women, with 55% saying they would not be interested in a man listening to the hugely popular show. Just over a third of men surveyed feel the same way, even though the audience for Rogan’s show is primarily male.
Overall, there are marked differences in how men and women view positions on astrology, Black Lives Matter, and gun ownership as attractive qualities.
The biggest turn-off among women (76%) is when men identify as MAGA Republicans — and 59% of men agree that this is red flag behavior for women.

The biggest turn-offs for women
Among women ages 18 to 34, which includes Generation Z and later Millennials, conservative views tended to be off-putting.
Not caring about politics is a red flag for 50 percent women, but talking about politics will also disable 23 percent as a young woman and identifying as liberal is a huge no for 19 percent.
Listening to Joe Rogan will rule out a man as a potential partner for more than half of women, with 55 percent saying listening to the controversial podcast would be a red flag.
About 66 percent of women said that having “no hobbies” was a red flag. Whether it’s knitting, gardening or golf, having a few hobbies is better than having none, according to the Change Research survey.
Using the anti-Black Lives Matter expression “All Lives Matter” was enough to 60 percent women.
Saying there are only two genders 58 percent women.

The biggest inconveniences for men
As part of the survey, men of the same age also identified their greatest active qualities in women.
About 59 percent men say identifying as a MAGA Republican is a turn-off. However, 64 percent of men think identifying as a communist is a red flag. So it would be better to be in the middle of the political aisle.
Having no hobbies will become 60 percent men, but make sure their hobbies don’t include astrology, which 41 percent disabled. Watching reality TV shows is prohibited 29 percent men.
Saying “All Lives Matter” is less appealing to 41 percent men, and saying “Black Lives Matter” is a turn-off for 33 percent.
Identifying as conservative and listening to Joe Rogan will both die out 35 percent men.

Here are some activations
Both men and women say reading is exciting, with 95 percent women deciding that men reading are attractive and 91 percent men agree.
Both sexes also agree that searching for the best deals and prices before buying something is exciting – 88 percent for women and 85 percent for men.
Other popular green flags for women include the inscription “Black Lives Matter” (60 percent), identifying as liberal (39 percent). Unsurprisingly, being more handsome in person than in dating app photos was also very arousing and appealing 50 percent of women.
Men are usually turned on by women who prefer cow’s milk over non-dairy milk, with 42 percent saying it’s a green flag.
Men are also more aroused by women who identify as conservative (35 percent) than women who identify as liberal (29 percent).
Even though both sexes agree that reading is hot, they disagree on whether listening to Joe Rogan isn’t. Only 7 percent of women say they like men who listen to Joe Rogan but 25 percent men and women alike who listen to the controversial podcaster.
