MAFS viewers blast Bronte for defending husband Harrison

Date:

Bronte Schofield has been criticized by Married At First Sight fans for blindly defending her controversial husband Harrison Boon.

Some viewers have even accused the couple of “faking” their relationship to stay in the experiment.

“We all know that Bronte and Harrison definitely played the game to extend their 15 minutes,” one of them tweeted.

“Harrison and Bronte can’t be real. The fact that they think Australia believes some of their shit. They’re clowns,” added another.

“Bronte roughly agrees with Harrison’s disgusting gaslighting comments,” said a third.

“We all know that Bronte and Harrison definitely played the game to extend their 15 minutes,” one viewer tweeted.

“So obvious that Bronte and Harrison are just there for the airtime,” one fan mused.

“I wouldn’t mind if it was entertaining, but their acting is so bad that everything seems scripted and fake. Come on producers, I know we’re all playing along, but you’re not even trying.’

Bronte was left in tears after her co-stars accused Harrison of “emotionally manipulating” her this week.

The bubbly brunette, 28, was involved in tense scenes at the NSW Southern Highlands retreat – where Claire Nomarhas warned her sternly.

Claire accused Harrison of “manipulating her emotionally,” with Bronte hitting back, saying the other brides are just jealous.

“Never once has Harrison tired of manipulating me. Harrison has no control over me,” Bronte said defiantly, as the other brides spoke to her.

‘I’m a grown woman and I have my own opinion. The reason they are trying to stir up my relationship is because they are jealous,” she added.

Bronte explained that the other brides “just want what Harrison and I have,” before Melinda agreed to support Claire.

“We just think you’re a little naive,” Melinda said.

‘As several girls see it. We just don’t want you to go down that path. We know you’re strong,” Alyssa added.

Bronte took issue with being called “naive” by Melinda.

“That’s basically calling me stupid and that my relationship with Harrison isn’t real and that really hurts,” Bronte said.

Bronte explained that she felt assaulted and assaulted.

‘I felt attacked. I’ve never had to sit there and let people choose my relationship when I’ve come this far,” she said.

Bronte then stormed off saying she needed a break.

“My husband is candid and he says how he feels. And they’re basically saying I’ve lost myself,” Bronte said.

“Why am I being absolutely, completely ridiculed for choosing him?”

The girls chose not to go after Bronte, but Claire made her feelings known despite the tense confrontation.

“Bronte, we care about you. We can see you being manipulated by this goddamn idiot,” Claire said.

“You have five of your friends sitting across from you telling you something is up. Something isn’t right.’

Later Bronte dropped the bombshell, she was in serious discussions with Harrison about moving to Sydney.
