Tahnee Cook and Ollie Skelton are just one of two successful couples who have continued their relationship outside of the experiment.
And the couple didn’t hold back when they weighed in on the brutal final vows of their other co-stars on Tuesday.
During her appearance on the Today Extra, Tahnee and Ollie sat down and discussed their happy ending before addressing Lyndall Grace’s brutal criticism of her fiancé, Cameron Woods.
Tahnee, 27, told hosts David Campbell and Sylvia Jeffries the scene was “brutal” but admitted she was proud of Lyndall for “finally” having her moment.
Yes, it was very brutal. You spoke well. “I think it was nice to see her having her moment,” she said.
I think she pulled back a lot during the experience and set aside her own needs and wants for Cameron. So I guess seeing that… I was shocked about it. But yeah… I think it was a sweet moment.
Ollie, who sat near Tahnee in the studio, agreed, and added that it reminded him of “rom-coms gone bad”.
The voiceover artist, 26, said he didn’t exactly feel sorry for Cameron, but the way it played out between the heartbroken couple was “inevitable.”

“I just think at this point in their relationship, I’m not 100 percent sure if either of them are ready to commit one way or the other,” he said.
Honestly. I was grieving for both of them and watched at the last dinner so many relationships fall apart…you don’t want to see it in the end.

In an unprecedented turn of events, she then cuts him off before he can give his speech, declaring that her life “does not include” him or his feelings.
“I came into this experience with the simple goal of finding love,” her vows began.
“For most of my life, marriage, being a partner, and planning for the future were pipe dreams I felt guilty about,” she added, referring to her struggle with cystic fibrosis and how it affected her self-worth.

Lyndall went on to describe their initial relationship, recalling their wedding day and how comforting Cam made her feel.
But the tone changed when she recounted the negative aspects of their romance and accused Cameron of being emotionally withdrawn and unable to handle confrontation.
“In our first few weeks together, you can barely sit through the smallest criticisms and constantly break out of difficult conversations, which makes me pick up the pieces,” she said.

As Cameron reached for his speech notes, Lyndall interrupted: “Um, before you start yeah?” Just in that regard, I feel that no matter what you say today, it will only disappoint me once more.”
During her talk, Lyndall highlighted her resilience and new lease on life, saying she refused to hold back because of her condition — or because of Cameron.
She concluded, “I want to build a life that I’m proud of, and that life doesn’t include you.”

A shattered Cameron responded by throwing his speech towards her on the floor and saying, “You can have that then.”
