Lucinda Light has hit back at accusations of “gossiping” and apologised for “offending” her on-screen husband Timothy Smith in the latest twist in their shocking feud.
The celebrant and businessman were paired together on the 2024 series of Married At First Sight and although they didn’t find love, their friendship captured the hearts of fans.
However, the couple have since been embroiled in an unexpected and shocking row, when Lucinda claimed Tim had blocked her on social media.
Tim then told fans he had been “disappointed” to hear “untrue” things Lucinda allegedly said, while a source claimed she had been “gossiping” about him.
Now, Lucinda has issued a lengthy statement on Instagram about their feud, apologising to Tim and his co-stars for any “offence” caused.
She admitted she would have liked the chance to discuss her differences with Tim over the phone rather than being stymied as she detailed her difficulties.
Responding to accusations of “gossiping”, Lucinda insisted she had only “told” her co-stars about “behaviours” that had upset her.
She wrote: ‘Regarding the comments and blocks Tim has made, conscious, clear and kind communication would have been my preference.

“If I had offended Tim, I would have loved to have a phone conversation to resolve the issue. I’ve told other cast members a couple of times about things I’ve done since I left the show and behaviors that have bothered me.
“I’m sure I’m not alone in that, we all need to process and share. Being on a reality show has been a great experience and in many ways I’m still processing it.
“In my heart, I have always treated Tim with understanding and compassion. I take responsibility for any harm I may have caused by sharing my feelings and hurts.”
Lucinda went on to share her hopes for their friendship as she asked Tim for “forgiveness” and apologized for “upsetting” him.
She continued, ‘There are no hard feelings on my part and I still hold a light of hope in our friendship. Ho’oponopono~ I’m sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you.’
‘I appreciate feedback from any cast member or anyone who feels I have upset Tim in any way, that was certainly not my intention.’
“If Tim doesn’t know what I stand for after spending so many months together, there’s nothing I can do about it. I just wish him all the love and success.”
“That’s the last thing I’ll say about this article. I’ve said what I have to say. I want to move on with my life. I have a lot of love to share and I think Tim does too.”

The couple split before making their final engagement on MAFS earlier this year, but remained close after filming wrapped last year.
However, news of their estrangement broke last month, when Tim opened up about why he cut ties with Lucinda.
In a revealing comment, Tim said: Yahoo Lifestyle that He didn’t go away easily, saying, “Eight chances were enough.”
He claimed Lucinda was “different” to the person he had been married to during filming and detailed their dispute.
“Hearing fragments that were not true, things that were distorted, was disappointing,” he added.
While she wished Lucinda all the best, she shared her desire to return to a normal life after her time on reality TV.
Meanwhile, a close source, described as a “close friend”, claimed that Tim cut ties with Lucinda because she had allegedly been “gossiping” about him.
Some of her season 11 co-stars admitted they were confused by her silent feud, but suggested it could be because Lucinda is “too busy” to spend time with Tim.
One star claimed there was “a lot of resentment” towards Lucinda over her job opportunities, but added that Tim was the least likely to be “jealous” of her success.
Lucinda has gone from strength to strength since her appearance on MAFS earlier this year and has already racked up a number of impressive job opportunities.
This comes after Tim claimed Lucinda was “different” to the person he had been married to during filming while detailing their feud.
The wedding celebrant and holistic coach has announced plans to tour Australia after recently selling out a speaking tour of the UK.
Speaking to Yahoo Australia, he cryptically joked: “I’m arguing about that right now.”
“There is a lot at stake and for me, the most exciting energy is talking to people, sharing love and inspiring each other.”
The show, called An Evening with Lucinda Light, is estimated to earn the television personality a whopping $250,000.
The tour was originally scheduled to last 10 days, with Lucinda doing eight shows, with an entry price of £27.50 GBP ($52 AUD) each.
