Married At First Sight star Jesse Burford has revealed if he and co-star Janelle Han had a revenge affair after their respective partners cheated on each other.
The marriage celebrant, 30, appeared on KIIS FM Kyle and Jackie O. this week to discuss the cheating scandal that rocked the show.
Jesse insisted that the couple wanted to remain faithful to their partners Claire Nomarhas and Adam Seed and to the experiment and decided not to pursue a romance together because it “just didn’t feel right”.
“Both Janelle and I talked about (whether) that thought crossed our minds, but we both said, ‘No,'” she told radio hosts.
“The experiment is about being with the person you were matched with and even though I just mentioned that I just went through this rough news, we still wanted to honor the experiment.

“If we had said, ‘Let’s do a wife swap,’ or something like that, it just wouldn’t feel right,” he said.
Jesse added that the cheating scandal made him realize how much he likes his ‘wife’ Claire.
If it wasn’t for the kiss, I wouldn’t have realized how much I liked Claire. It was my reaction that gave me the message that she wouldn’t react this way if I didn’t like her,” she said.

On Thursday, Adam attempted to clear his name in an interview with Kyle and Jackie O, but instead of taking charge, he accused Claire of instigating their kiss by “repeatedly” trying to separate him from the group the night they kissed.
“She tried to pull me away from the group at least three or four times that night,” he told radio hosts Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson.

The businessman also said he had text messages from Claire that prove she instigated their brief affair, after she tried to claim the couple were equally at fault.
‘(Claire is) lying through her teeth right now. She is very sneaky so I just have to be careful what I say,” she added.
Adam alleged that Claire continued to send him flirty messages after the night of their kiss, even asking him to run away on dates on multiple occasions.

I’m not going to lie, I leaned in a bit, but nothing really happened. He was making some headway on me,” she said.
Adam also admitted that he felt “very sorry” for cheating on Claire’s partner, Jesse, by lying to her about the kiss.
“(It was) really the worst part of it all, making him feel like he was freaking out when he had a feeling something was up,” he said.
‘I have nothing but love for Jesse. We are recovering and all that, since all this has come out. So I really regret kissing Claire that night and attacking him.
