Married At First Sight Jesse Burford made a shocking revelation, admitting that he felt “isolated” and unfriended during his time on the show.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, the Perth celebration, 30, expressed her envy of Ollie Skelton and Robert Bogden’s close friendship during filming.
‘I never had a best friend,’ said Jesse with raw emotion.
I felt completely isolated…Oli and Robert were very tight. I was so envious of their friendship.
“ I felt that Claire (Jesse’s partner) enjoyed a lot having her own space and I wasn’t in it. I felt like I didn’t have a best friend in MAFS.

“My best friend, who was supposed to be my wife, kissed another man and then disrespected my request to leave, making me panic and have to put up with her redemption arc.” ”
Jesse added that while he felt he did not connect with anyone during the show, since filming wrapped in December, things have changed.
“The strongest connection I’ve ever had with anyone on the cast is definitely Janelle,” he explained.
We went through the same thing, we are both from the same city. I think next to Janelle there’s probably going to be a tie between Cam, Duncan and Harrison.

I know many viewers will hear Harrison’s name and may be shocked by it. And I just want to remind everyone that they only see the one percent.
Harrison was always there for me. He’s never done anything wrong (me), and our friendship has lasted, and will continue, since the show.
Elsewhere during the explosive interview, Jesse revealed that he was “shocked” to see their turbulent relationship on screen, as Claire was portrayed as an angel, despite her “crazy stuff” on set, such as “cheating” and “gaslighting”.
Jesse admitted that he assumed he wouldn’t receive an “evil” edit during filming, and was horrified to discover that his assumptions were completely wrong when the show began.
I was shocked when I saw our relationship on screen. I remember thinking to myself, “I don’t have to worry about whether I’m going to get evil, because[Claire]just said some crazy things.”
“And here I am watching Honeymoon Six Months Later, and they don’t show any of it!”

In the explosive interview, Jesse also revealed that he was “shocked” to see how their tumultuous relationship played out on screen, as Claire was portrayed as an angel, despite her “crazy things” on set, such as “cheating” and ” Gas lighting’.

Jesse explains that he stopped watching the show after the fourth episode due to the way it portrayed him as a “misogynist”, while neglecting to show Claire’s bad behavior on their honeymoon.
Although Jesse did not experience any favoritism from the production firsthand, he said he felt a “weird sixth sense that something wasn’t quite right” during filming.
“For some reason they chose her to be the angel of the season,” he said.
(Claire) is supervillain on a silver platter, and they’re like, ‘No, we’ll take care of her.'” “It’s almost criminal. Unbalanced, unfair, I can’t even explain it to you, man,” he complained.
Jesse said he struggled to watch the show again, especially because he had no support system to help him cope emotionally, nor anyone who could empathize with his experience.

Jesse also lifted the lid at a crucial moment during filming that was never broadcast
I’ve had a bunch of friends text me and say, “Hey, I hope you’re doing well.”
“But you know, from the 100% that I go through, the text messages from your friends, as much as I appreciate them and feel so grateful for them, really did reduce my suffering by a tiny tiny bit, and no one can really empathize with my experience.”
And this goes even further than the cast members, because none of them have been through a cheating scandal, been denied the opportunity to leave and been pressured by the production to forgive and carry on and there was a suspicion that their partner is not here for the right reasons.
You know, it was very difficult to watch that again. And I totally struggled mentally. I actually stopped watching after the first four episodes.
