Garside’s dream of winning boxing gold in Paris was dashed after he lost his first fight in the men’s 63.5kg weight class to Hungary’s Richard Kovacs by unanimous decision.

Married At First Sight star Domenica, 31, took to her Instagram Story on Monday ahead of the fight to support Harry, 27, through a series of photos and clips.

One photo showed Domenica preparing for the clash, wearing a ‘Team Garside’ hoodie while drinking a coffee.

Captioning the image, ‘Let’s go fuck ourselves’

He then followed up with a short video showing a laptop streaming the fight and showing Harry and his opponent walking to the ring.

The emotion reached its peak for Domenica, who captioned the clip: “I had to mute him because he was screaming.”

A second photo, showing Harry in the ring preparing to face Kovacs, was captioned ‘@harrygarside we are all proud of you from your family’, with Domenica tagging her I’m A Celebrity castmates Liz Ellis, Aesha Scott, Nathan Henry, Adam Cooney, Nick Cummins, Debra Lawrence, Peter Helliar and Bianca Hunt.

Despite the celebrity outpouring of support, it wasn’t Garside’s night. But that didn’t stop Domenica from offering her unconditional support.

She shared a second video showing the boxer’s heartbreaking post-fight interview.

“Australia is a very sporting nation. I’m really sorry, honestly. I feel like a failure right now,” the dejected boxer said in the video.
