And now Daily Mail Australia can reveal the real reason why Bryce, 31, decided to skip dinner on Sunday night.
According to a well-placed source, Bryce got into a heated clash with producers after revealing his intentions to leave the show.

After Bryce managed to escape, he frantically left the Skye Suites in Sydney CBD, where he lived during filming to contact his parents.
Bryce was desperate. He wanted to go out and asked a stranger for coins to use a payphone to call his parents and ask for advice, ‘the source said.

Bryce returned to his hotel after several hours without any of his belongings, where he was met by several executive producers who reluctantly agreed to let the couple miss their final dinner.
Producers told him he wouldn’t be doing himself a favor by running away. They had complete control over how he would be perceived by viewers – and they could essentially make or break him. ‘
Obviously, Bryce and Melissa decided to enjoy a night out on their own instead.
