While previous years were marked by controversial topics, the 2023 season will feature a “twisted” challenge from the experts: encouraging the actors to swap partners.
An insider let it slip: They’ve really upped the ante this year. They worked out different couples’ partners for three days and it was hell for everyone involved.
I don’t know if it was because there were way too many couples at the end and they just wanted to test who was real or not, or they just wanted to shake things up.

Some participants refused to do so. They didn’t see the point of it and were like, “There’s no way this could happen in the outside world.”
The insider claimed that the partner-swapping mission was given the green light by relationship experts John Aiken, Alessandra, and Mel Schilling.
Married at First Sight premieres on 30 January at 7.30pm on Channel Nine
