The 64-year-old singer cut a low-key figure while flanked by her adoptive daughter, 17, as they touched down in New York after her terrifying health issue, in which she suffered a bacterial infection that landed her in ICU.
After saying she “realized how lucky she is to be alive,” the star looked in poor health after her flight and while in her son’s arms.

She wrote: ‘The love of family and friends is the best medicine. A month out of the hospital and I can reflect.’

The pop music icon, who fell ill in June, shared a trio of photos with his 19 million followers, along with a candid caption, as he reflected on the past month since his hospitalization.
A snapshot showed her with her eldest daughter, Lourdes León, 26, who made a peace sign while posing with her beloved mother.
Another image showed the artist hugging David.
The caption continued: “As a mom, you can really get caught up in your kids’ needs and seemingly endless giving… But when the chips were down, my kids really showed up for me.”
Madonna received an injection of the drug Narcan, commonly used to reverse suspected drug overdose, to combat acute septic shock before she was taken to hospital, Radar Online reported.
Sepsis is a life-threatening condition caused when the body releases chemicals to fight an infection.
These chemicals damage the body’s own tissues and organs and can lead to shock, organ failure, and death.
The source said the singer “has an incredible support system around her and appreciates all the love she’s received” since she was taken to the hospital on June 24.

She gushed: ‘I saw a side of them that I’ve never seen before. She made all the difference. So did the love and support of my friends.’
