As her other half took on Italy’s Jasmine Paolini on Sunday afternoon, ESPN’s television cameras focused on Fratangelo in the stands of Court One.
And to the horror of commentator Rennae Stubbs and the thousands of viewers tuning in, the former American tennis player turned coach was carrying out a disgusting act.
For nearly 10 seconds, Fratangelo picked his nose with his thumb, even appearing to throw everything he found on the floor at one point.
‘Take the camera away from him while he picks his nose!’ Stubbs said indignantly.

Several fans also rushed to X to criticize Fratangelo for his unhygienic antics in the crowd.
“Don’t pick your nose in public, especially when your wife is playing a game and there’s a good chance you’ll be on TV,” wrote one.
Another said: ‘ESPN cameras zoom in on Bjorn Fratangelo just as he’s picking his nose and shaking his findings. This is Wimbledon, sir!’
