Hamas's invasion of Israel almost a year ago, in which its terrorists massacred some 1,200 people and took 250 hostage.

The IDF has displayed weapons, vehicles and tools that it claims were used by Hamas during its deadly raid into Israel on October 7 last year.

Hamas’s invasion of Israel almost a year ago, in which its terrorists massacred some 1,200 people and took 250 hostage, was met with a brutal response from Israel that has led to new conflicts with Lebanon and Iran.

As Monday will mark one year since the deadly massacre, the IDF has prepared a display of a wide range of assets seized from Hamas fighters on that deadly day.

The exhibition, set up in Tel Aviv, shows dozens of weapons used by Hamas on October 7, including a number of AK-47s and rocket launchers.

On the front lawn of the exhibit is a series of Iranian missiles intercepted in a variety of conditions.

One appears to be severely damaged and rusted, with what appears to be its propeller separated from the main body.

The exhibit also displays a number of vehicles, including several motorcycles, a number of crushed cars and a large excavator used to tear down the iron fence that separated the Gaza Strip from Israel.

Tools were seen alongside the weapons, including an axe, several improvised drones and a pair of diving fins.

Israel responded strongly to the October 7 attack by launching a counteroffensive against the Gaza Strip.

Nearly 42,000 Palestinians have died in Gaza since the start of the war, according to the Gaza Health Ministry. He doesn’t say how many were combatants, but he says a little more than half were women and children.

Hamas-led militants killed about 1,200 people in the Oct. 7 attack and took another 250 hostage. They still hold about 100 captives, a third of whom are believed to be dead.

The war in the Middle East has unfolded in recent weeks and Israel now faces a major military front on its border with Lebanon.

In Beirut, airstrikes lit up the skyline and loud explosions echoed through the southern suburbs, known as Dahiyeh, throughout the night, as Israel attacked what it said were Hezbollah militant sites.

Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency said the area was hit by more than 30 strikes overnight, the heaviest bombardment since Sept. 23, when Israel intensified its air campaign.

The targets included a gas station on the main road leading to Beirut airport and a medical supplies warehouse, the agency said. Some of the night attacks caused a long series of explosions, suggesting that ammunition depots may have been hit.

The Israeli military confirmed it was attacking targets near Beirut and said some 30 projectiles had crossed from Lebanon into Israeli territory, some of which were intercepted.

Hezbollah said it successfully targeted a group of Israeli soldiers in northern Israel “with a large salvo of rockets, hitting them precisely.” It was not possible to confirm the claim.

At least 1,400 Lebanese, including civilians, medics and Hezbollah fighters, have been killed and 1.2 million driven from their homes in less than two weeks. Israel says it intends to expel the militant group from its border so that tens of thousands of Israeli citizens can return to their homes.

Hezbollah, Lebanon’s most powerful armed force, backed by Iran, began firing rockets at Israel almost immediately after the Hamas attack on October 7, calling it a show of support for the Palestinians. Hezbollah and the Israeli army have exchanged fire almost daily.

Last week, Israel launched what it said was a limited ground operation in southern Lebanon after a series of strikes that killed former Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and most of its top commanders. The fighting is the worst since Israel and Hezbollah fought a month-long war in 2006. Nine Israeli soldiers have been killed in ground clashes that Israel says have killed 440 Hezbollah fighters.

It is not possible to verify battlefield reports from either side.
