A woman was attacked by her partner and his pitbull in Brazil, authorities said, as a helpless neighbor begged the man to call the dog back.
Footage of the horrific incident shows the victim screaming on the floor behind a closed door as the dog appears at her side.
As she struggles with the dog and the man on top of her, the neighbor begs for the attack to stop.
“The dog is taking her, damn it!” the neighbor is heard shouting. “For God’s sake, man! What are you doing, bro? The pitbull is going to kill the girl! Let her go!”

Police arrived after responding to a 911 call from another neighbor and arrested the 41-year-old man.
He faces a number of charges, including attempted murder, domestic violence and wrongful imprisonment.
The 37-year-old victim, who suffered several bites, told police her partner punched and kicked her inside their home and called her a “whore and a prostitute.”
She accused her husband of strangling her and said he threatened to kill her by shooting and stabbing her.
The woman remained hospitalized on Thursday.
The husband contradicted the woman’s claims and told police that the dog bit his ankle while he was arguing with her.
He also faces charges of kidnapping, assault and criminal threats.
The woman suffered multiple injuries after being bitten by a pet pitbull while her boyfriend was trying to drag her back to their home in Peruibe, Brazil, on Monday.
A report released Tuesday by the Brazilian Public Security Forum found that 26.8 percent of the population in the South American country knew a woman who had been a victim of domestic violence by her husband, boyfriend or ex-partner.
At least 2.4 million women were victims of assault between June 2023 and June 2024, the data showed.
The report indicated that 258,941 women were harmed in domestic incidents throughout 2023.
According to government data obtained by CNN Brasil, the National Council of Justice recorded 318,514 cases of domestic violence reported by women during the first five months of the year.
