“But it’s good to remember that there are people who don’t have any access to health care.”
“I am so grateful for the care this hospital has provided over the past few years, with Loretta’s breathing issues and let’s not forget her broken leg (eye roll emoji). We have been here a lot, praying for fewer visits in the future .child (prayer emoji).’
In February last year, Lydia revealed her daughter Loretta was rushed to hospital on her birthday after suffering a “heartbreaking accident”.
The star revealed to her followers at the time that she felt “completely shocked and emotional” following the events.

Lydia captioned the post: “Loretta’s 4th birthday, how it started and how it ended.”
‘She spent the morning at home, unwrapping all her birthday presents and repeating Stevie Wonder’s “Happy Birthday.” Nanny also knocked on the door with her first pets (without my permission, I’ll save that for another post).
The TV personality continued, “Then we got ready for what was supposed to be her dream birthday party. Soft play and trampoline with 30 of her best friends. However, after 30 minutes of fun he fell on his leg and the screams were heartbreaking.

‘I knew something was wrong because Loretta is a tough girl. I picked her up without most of the guests knowing and rushed her to the hospital. A few hours later, in the emergency room, the doctor confirmed that he had a small fracture in his tibia.
“Many tears were shed, especially me. I broke my ankle on a trampoline when I was younger and couldn’t believe I had allowed my daughter to do the same.’
‘At 11 pm we were discharged, with a cast on our leg and pain relief. We went straight to McDonald’s and spent the night unwrapping his gift on the couch between nuggets and fries.
‘I still feel completely shocked and very excited. Thank goodness she has lots of new gifts to keep her busy and we have our family and friends who have been amazing, because I can’t even get off the couch to pee without crying. I guess it’s all part of childhood.
It comes after Lydia admitted she “feels overwhelmed” by being a single mother as she is under “enormous pressure”.
The star, who is a single mother to her daughter Loretta, admitted she faced “mom guilt” when she asked family and friends for help.
Talking to Kate Ferdinand about her Mixed On the podcast, Lydia said she “no longer feels like a single mom” because she has a “village” to help raise her little girl.
Lydia explained: ‘Sometimes things seem overwhelming to me. I don’t feel like a single mother, they say it takes a village and my family is incredible. “We live very close to each other and they are also very practical.”
‘I sent Loretta to daycare and felt so guilty. Sometimes you have to rely on friends, family, and childcare. “You can’t achieve everything yourself, but you feel guilty and put enormous pressure on yourself as a parent when you’re working and busy.”
