Luton fans clashed with administrators as their team’s Premier League hopes suffered a blow in defeat to West Ham.
A video shared on social media showed dramatic scenes in the away stadium during the final stages of the game as some traveling supporters became involved in a melee with stewards.
The disruption is said to have been caused by stewards attempting to remove at least two fans from the lower level.
Other stewards rushed to the commotion and were quickly supported by police who were able to calm the situation and prevent further incidents.
Rob Edwards’ side started the match brightly at the London Stadium, with Albert Sami Lokonga giving them the lead after just six minutes.

However, Nuno Espirito Santo’s team ultimately lost 3-2, taking their own fight for survival in the top flight to the final day.
Luton are just three points behind Forest and a significant disparity in the two clubs’ goal difference makes relegation almost inevitable for the club.
Speaking after their defeat, Edwards praised the club’s fans for their support throughout the campaign.
“We didn’t get relegated for today, it was the culmination of the entire season,” he said.

‘I feel devastated, I didn’t want to let anyone down and I feel responsible. “I thanked the players and the staff, they have given me the best 18 months of my life.”
