Three people are in hospital after 17 people were arrested in a mass brawl at London Luton Airport yesterday.
Shocking footage shows men hitting, kicking and hitting each other with suitcases around 8 a.m. in the airport’s shopping area.
An onlooker told MailOnline that the fight broke out after a man threw a bottle at another who insulted a woman he was traveling with.
Other passengers shouted ‘stop’ as the group attacked each other on the seats in the waiting area.
Police are investigating the fight and the airport has apologized to other affected passengers.

In the video, a group of men surround someone on the floor, kicking and stamping the floor.
They break into fist fights before making their way to the sitting area and scrambling over chairs.
A man tries to pick up a bin as a weapon before throwing it away while onlookers keep their distance.
Some fights are dissolved before the group invades another part of the airport.
One of the passengers at the airport told MailOnline: “There was an altercation between the women, and then they started arguing, shouting. I didn’t understand this language, but it was easy to see what was happening.
Then one of the boys started a fight between them and insulted the other woman.
“This boy didn’t know there was a boy from the other group behind him who threw a bottle at his head and hit him perfectly in the back of the head.

Then the fight began. A boy was dug hard on the floor, it took about a minute. The whole situation took about 5 minutes and there was no security.

When the fight ended, they started closing the shop behind them. All aggressors totally ignored airport security. ‘
Bedfordshire Police said: ‘Police were notified of a violent disorder at London Luton Airport.
Four people were injured, and three were seriously injured and taken to hospital.
“Subsequently, 17 people were arrested and remain in police custody for questioning.”
Luton Airport said, “We are shocked and saddened by this isolated incident.
‘We have a zero tolerance policy towards violence and will continue to assist the police in their investigations.
“We want to apologize to the affected passengers.”
