Luke Shaw has urged Manchester United to launch a £200m double swoop for England team-mates Harry Kane and Declan Rice.
Kane and Rice trained at United’s base in Carrington ahead of Monday night’s Euro 2024 qualifier against North Macedonia. And Shaw has revealed he has ‘exploited’ his international team-mates – both of concrete interest for United this summer.
The left-back, who is due to leave for England on Monday, shared photos of himself with Kane and Rice at United headquarters with the caption ‘Carrington tour’ on social media. Both are valued at over £100million.
Shaw called his message a “joke” on Sunday, but admitted: “I would like a few of them to join United.” I talk to them, I tell them how good Manchester is because I know their qualities.
“I know they are world class and would be a great help to us, but I can’t say more than that.”
