- Littler won his first Darts Premier League title at the O2 Arena.
Luke Littler produced an impressive nine-dart finish en route to winning his first Premier League Darts title at London’s O2 Arena.
The 17-year-old advanced to the final on Thursday night after a dominant 10-5 win against Michael Smith in the semi-final and continued to impress soon after.
Against Luke Humphries, Littler stepped up and hit the impressive nine-dart to take a 6-5 lead in the main event, causing a record crowd of 14,000 chaos.
In doing so, he became the first player to hit a nine-darter in a Premier League final since Phil Taylor did it twice in 2010.
In the eleventh leg of the final, Littler hit consecutive 180s before finishing at 141 with a triple 20, a triple 19 and a double 12.
Humphries stood and applauded as the 17-year-old rejoiced with the crowd, before cheekily glancing at his watch as if to suggest he had been waiting for the finish line.
Littler then held his own to dispatch Humphries 11-7, the man who beat him in the World Championship final earlier this year.
