Martin called her a “dumb shit” and a “f***ing pig” in the leaked texts, leading to him leaving the state Liberal party room and a formal investigation into her behavior being launched.
Daily Mail Australia can now reveal Ms Wicks began receiving anonymous, threatening letters at her workplace within weeks of her complaint against Mr Martin because the texts had become public.
A source with knowledge of the incident said “it was obvious it was intended to scare or intimidate her.” Someone wanted to denigrate her.’

The woman who made a complaint against Liberal MP Taylor Martin has been the subject of a vile campaign of harassment in the months since the investigation began.

“Can’t wait to see this in the media (sic),” the letter continued.
Daily Mail Australia understands at least three letters were submitted to police for investigation, each typed and printed.
The first letter arrived in August, just weeks after Wicks was blindsided when the media named her the text message complainant.
That letter included clippings from newspaper articles from the time, with an abusive typewritten note that used a crude sexual term.
A second letter reportedly arrived six weeks later, towards the end of September. This was the letter that contained the vile threat of the dark web.
At the end of January a third letter arrived. Each of these letters was addressed to Ms Wicks by her first name and sent to the post office box of her employer in southern Sydney.
It is unclear who is behind the letters and Daily Mail Australia is not suggesting Martin is responsible.
“It was terrifying for her but she is determined not to let a relentless anonymous campaign and disgusting smears silence her,” a source close to Ms Wicks told Daily Mail Australia.
Ms Wicks had reportedly kept her employer details private, and it was not information that constituents were made aware of on a daily basis.
Within weeks of her complaint against Mr Martin becoming public, former Robertson MP Lucy Wicks began receiving threatening letters at her workplace.
Text research enters the seventh month
An outside investigation into Mr. Martin’s text messages is now in its seventh month.
Martin bombarded Wicks with a series of “ugly” text messages after their romantic relationship ended.
He called her a “fucking idiot,” a “fucking fool,” “sick,” an “absolute bitch of a person” and a “fucking ignorant pig.” **h’.
He later apologized for them, accepting that “it was an ugly and undignified parting of ways” and promising to help with any investigation.

Around the same time the last letter arrived, Mr. Martin was going through a bitter breakup.
His wife of just eight weeks, Brittany, had broken off their relationship.
Witnesses heard a heated altercation outside the home they shared in Terrigal, on the New South Wales Central Coast, in late January this year.
Brittany was seen carrying her three-year-old daughter and running to a car parked on the street, where she locked them inside, a witness claimed.
Mr Martin followed him and was allegedly heard banging on the car’s windows and doors, shouting and screaming.
A short time later, a woman, believed to be Brittany’s mother, arrived and picked up Brittany and the child.
Daily Mail Australia revealed that NSW Legislative Council member Taylor Martin married his girlfriend Brittany in a lavish ceremony on the grounds of Alexandria in December.
A report was made to the police, who later said: ‘A report was made to the police at Wyong police station in February; However, it is personal in nature and there are no associated charges.
‘There’s no more available info.’
Martin stood aside in the Liberal party room pending the investigation.
Daily Mail Australia revealed this did not stop the party from accepting his vote during internal branch meetings.
He was seen at the Liberal state council meeting last month, where he voted supporting his friend, the powerful Alex Hawke, from being expelled by the party due to an internal dispute over preselections.
His presence surprised some party members, given that he has sat on the Macquarie Street crossbench since July 2023.
“It doesn’t pass the pub test,” said one attendee. “He’s been removed from the party room, it’s just a reality that he shouldn’t have been there.”
