LSU football star Trey Holly has been arrested in connection with a shooting that left two people injured in Louisiana last week.
Holly, who plays running back for the Tigers, was arrested for three felonies; attempted second-degree murder, aggravated criminal damage to property and illegal use of a weapon.
The incident occurred in the city of Farmerville, Louisiana, around 10:30 p.m. last Friday, according to the Farmerville Police Department.
A woman is said to have been left in critical condition after being shot three times, while a man was also shot in the lower leg, reports The New Orleans Defender.
Holly, who was arrested for the shooting along with two other people, was booked into the Union Parish Detention Center after turning herself in Thursday.

Following his arrest, LSU said in a statement that he had been suspended from the team “indefinitely.”
“We are aware that a student-athlete has been arrested in connection with a shooting in Union Parish,” LSU said. ‘This student-athlete has been suspended indefinitely from all team activities, in accordance with departmental policies.
“Out of respect for the judicial process, we will not comment further.”
