The family of a 23-year-old father faltered after he died in a motorcycle accident.
Jarrod Beaver rode his trail bike in a reserve along the Great Western Highway in Blacktown, western Sydney when he lost control and hit a metal lane on Monday at 1.20 p.m.
Despite paramedics from New South Wales Ambulance and Careflight treating him on the spot, Beaver suffered a cardiac arrest and died before being transported to the hospital.
He was thought to have a “heart of gold” and was a loving father for a four-year-old girl.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to help the Beaver family raise $ 2,000 to cover funeral expenses.
The page raised more than $ 500 in about 10 hours.
Alisha Erin wrote on the page that the family had lost a wonderful son, brother, uncle and father to four-year-old Skyelah.

“Today, Jarrod tragically had a motorcycle accident, he was just driving through the back field behind his house when life took a turn for the worst,” she wrote.
“We all know that Jarrod had a heart of gold and wore his heart on his sleeve and he helped everyone who needed it, you were in trouble, it was to help Jarrod.”
‘Fly high, Jarrod, we love you. PS Skyelah wanted me to add you Daddy. ”
NSW Ambulance Chief Inspector Brian Parsell said that Jarrod’s 57-year-old father also suffered a cardiac arrest after he arrived on site and saw his son.
“While this drama was taking place, the Lord’s father also had a heart attack,” said Chief Inspector Parsell.
The rider’s father has a previous cardiac history and was transported to Westmead Hospital where he is in a serious but stable condition.
The police are investigating the cause of the crash.
